WME is hiring a Visual Editor based in New York, NY, to sit within the IMG Models division and own the creative and operational infrastructure behind how talent is represented visually across the agency. This role covers everything from digital asset management and model portfolio development to casting photography and archiving standards across global markets. It suits a photographer and retoucher who thinks in systems, thrives in a high-volume creative environment, and understands how image quality and metadata discipline directly affect how talent gets booked.

About the Role

The Visual Editor reports to the Visual Director and the regional lead at IMG Models, working across the agency’s creative services, talent marketing, and digital content teams. Day to day, this person manages the Mediaslide digital asset management platform, shoots and retouches casting images, keeps model portfolios current, and monitors asset needs across fashion shows, editorial campaigns, and red carpet appearances. Fashion Month, which falls in February and March and again in September and October, is the busiest stretch, with some weekend availability expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee global archiving standards for IMG Models on Mediaslide, reviewing all Creative Services uploads to verify image quality, metadata accuracy, and correct credit attribution.
• Shoot casting images including digitals and test shoots, manage test shoot scheduling, and maintain the New York studio space.
• Perform light retouching in Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to prepare images for portfolio use and custom pitch presentations.
• Collect and cross-reference assets for New York-based managers, identifying outstanding editorial, campaign, and red carpet coverage not captured by the wider Creative Services team.
• Lead workflow development discussions around digital asset management tools, including evaluating platforms and exploring system integrations such as Lynx tick-box functionality with the Operations team.
• Support onboarding of new IMG signs by helping establish their digital asset presence and contributing to imaging guidelines for the agency.

What You Bring

• Expert-level photography and videography skills with a consistent, professional aesthetic aligned to model agency standards.
• Strong command of Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite, including retouching for portfolio and presentation output.
• Hands-on experience with digital asset management platforms such as Mediaslide, Bynder, or comparable systems used in talent representation or editorial workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word, for presentation and documentation work.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams across global teams with strong attention to detail and clear proactive communication.
