Somerce is hiring a Videographer based in London, England to work across their social commerce content operation. This is a production and post role focused on shooting and editing short-form video for TikTok Shop and paid social, spanning product shoots, talent-led formats, and shoppable content built to convert. It suits an experienced shooter and editor who understands social commerce production workflow and can read performance data as fluently as they can frame a shot.

About the Role

You’ll be embedded within the content and paid teams at Somerce, producing short-form video production assets for some of the bigger brands operating on TikTok Shop across the UK, US and EU. A typical week involves studio and location shoots around London, cutting multiple hooks and lengths from each shoot, then sitting with the team to review hook rate, watch time and GMV per video before the next brief lands. The volume is real and so is the accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot product hero shots, talent-led content and creator-style formats in studio and on location across London, handling camera, lighting and audio setups independently.
• Edit short-form video for TikTok, Reels and Shorts with a focus on hooks, pacing, captions and sound design that earns attention in the first two seconds.
• Produce shoppable content formats including demos, before and afters, unboxings, offer-led edits and assets built for TikTok LIVE and paid media.
• Cut multiple hook variations, durations and format sizes from every shoot to support rapid creative testing and scaling of top-performing assets.
• Review content performance metrics including hook rate and watch time, and feed those findings directly into the production and edit approach on future shoots.
• Manage your own edit queue across several brands simultaneously and deliver to deadline without handholding.

What You Bring

• Five or more years shooting and editing professional video, with at least two of those years in high-production social content.
• Direct experience in social commerce production, whether through TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping, Amazon or DTC ad creative measured on sales outcomes.
• A portfolio that covers both polished brand-level production and native short-form, not one or the other.
• Strong product and beauty lighting skills, plus confidence directing on-screen talent.
• Advanced working knowledge of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with After Effects or comparable motion graphics tools for text and animation work.
