Freelance Real Estate Photographer and Videographer – Sydney – Remote

Job Position(s): Freelance Real Estate Photographer and Videographer - Sydney - Remote

Urban Angles Pty is looking for a Freelance Real Estate Photographer and Videographer based in Sydney to join their property visual production team. This role sits within a specialist content production workflow focused on delivering stills, video walkthroughs, and marketing visuals for the real estate sector, output that feeds directly into property listings, agent campaigns, and developer collateral. It suits a self-shooting operator who is comfortable working independently across residential and commercial properties and understands how visual storytelling translates to commercial outcomes in the property market.

About the Role

Urban Angles Pty has spent over 20 years building a reputation in property visual production across the Sydney market, and this freelance position sits at the production end of that pipeline. Day to day, you are on location capturing stills and video content across a variety of property types, then delivering polished, client-ready material within tight turnaround windows. The work is remote and location-based, meaning you manage your own schedule and equipment on shoot days.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot architectural and interior photography across residential, commercial, and development properties throughout the Sydney region.
• Capture and edit property video walkthroughs, drone footage, and short-form marketing reels suited to real estate listing platforms.
• Manage on-location lighting setups to handle a range of interior and exterior conditions without a dedicated lighting crew.
• Deliver colour-graded, retouched image sets and edited video files to client specifications and within agreed delivery timelines.
• Coordinate directly with real estate agents and property managers to confirm shoot access, staging requirements, and shot lists.
• Maintain and transport your own camera, lens, and support equipment to each location, ensuring gear is shoot-ready at call time.

What You Bring

• A proven body of work in real estate photography and videography, with a portfolio that demonstrates competency across stills and motion.
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro for post-production retouching and video editing workflows.
• Experience operating a drone for aerial property coverage, with a current CASA Remote Pilot Licence preferred.
• Your own professional-grade camera system with wide-angle and tilt-shift lens options suited to architectural production.
• Ability to manage a multi-property shoot schedule independently across the greater Sydney area.

Why This Role

Urban Angles Pty has a long-standing client base in the Sydney property sector, which translates to consistent freelance volume rather than one-off jobs. The company’s two decades in property visual production means you are working within a structured, repeatable production workflow rather than building processes from scratch. For a freelance real estate photographer and videographer looking for reliable ongoing work with an established operator, this is a practical fit.
