About the Role

The Associate Producer works directly under the Head of Production, Short Form, embedded in a studio that handles color grading and post-production finishing for advertising content. Day to day, this person is managing schedules, running client communications, and keeping deliverables on track across internal color and finishing teams and external editorial partners. The position is hybrid with required on-site presence at the New York studio during client sessions and Colorist bookings.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, timelines, and deliverables across color, finishing, and editorial teams for multiple short form advertising projects running simultaneously.
• Organize project kickoffs, client reviews, and internal production meetings, taking notes and distributing clear, actionable feedback.
• Collect Booking Sheets and final delivery requirements, working with Operations to ensure all project elements are received and properly tracked.
• Monitor project progress to identify scheduling conflicts or resource gaps before they become problems, escalating to Producers and the Head of Production when needed.
• Support vendor coordination, work orders, and invoicing as projects require.
• Maintain direct communication with clients throughout the post-production workflow, providing status updates and managing expectations against deliverable deadlines.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in color production, offline editorial, or VFX and finishing production environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of communication across multiple stakeholders in a deadline-driven post-production environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and solid general computer literacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suited to client-facing work.
• Flexibility to work extended or weekend hours on short notice when production demands it.
