About the Role

Sitting within the Enterprise Intelligence Platform organization and reporting to the SVP of that group, this role owns the company’s AI agent infrastructure across studio operations, spanning film production, television, and corporate functions. Day-to-day work moves between defining platform architecture, evaluating emerging agentic AI frameworks, prototyping new capabilities, and keeping a growing portfolio of deployed agents observable, reliable, and cost-efficient. This is not a hands-off leadership post: the expectation is that you are in the work, not above it.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy, architecture, and evolution of SPE’s enterprise agent platform, making critical technology decisions that affect AI workflows across film and television production operations.
• Build and maintain the agent registry, control plane, and AgentOps capabilities including monitoring, incident management, lifecycle management, and cost optimization for a production-scale AI pipeline.
• Establish reusable engineering patterns and a shared component library that reduce delivery time for each new agent solution built across studio departments.
• Take high-priority business problems from concept to production-ready deployment in weeks, applying engineering discipline without sacrificing speed.
• Continuously evaluate emerging agentic AI platforms and translate new capabilities into practical solutions that serve the operational realities of a major entertainment studio.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performance engineering team, setting a measurable technical bar while building a culture of experimentation and ownership.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a senior engineering leader who has personally architected and shipped enterprise AI or automation platforms at scale.
• Hands-on proficiency with agentic AI frameworks, orchestration tools, and modern AI pipeline design, including familiarity with agent monitoring and observability practices.
• A track record of delivering production software in complex, matrixed organizations, ideally including media, entertainment, or similarly content-driven industries.
• Strong command of cloud infrastructure and security principles as they apply to enterprise AI deployments.
• Experience building and scaling engineering teams, with the credibility to influence technical decisions at the executive level.
