About the Role

The Operations Analyst Trainee, Distribution & Networks supports both the Production Services and Customer Operations teams that keep SPHE’s physical distribution pipeline running for retail partners nationwide. Day-to-day work touches retail inventory planning, backorder resolution, and sales order management, the kind of supply chain workflow that determines whether a title is on shelves on street date. The program runs January 4 or 11, 2027 through December 17, 2027, with flexible start and end dates, and requires a full-time, 40-hour-per-week in-person commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support retail inventory planning and product placement by assisting with sales order distribution and coordinating physical media delivery to SPHE retail partners.
• Manage exception resolution workflows, including out-of-stock prevention, backorder tracking, and performance reporting across the home entertainment distribution network.
• Assist customer operations teams with navigating and resolving consumer support issues tied to physical product fulfillment.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and special projects as directed by management across functional areas within the Distribution Division.
• Identify and support process improvement opportunities within the supply chain and across cross-functional operations teams.

What You Bring

• Student or early-career status with availability to work full-time on-site in Culver City for the duration of the program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort corresponding across management levels and with external retail partners.
• Ability to learn new systems and databases quickly and adapt to shifting operational priorities.
• Attention to detail and the organizational discipline to manage deadlines across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience with retail, consumer packaged goods, or the entertainment industry supply chain is preferred but not required.
