Junior Shooter & Video Editor

thisisglobal is hiring a Junior Shooter & Video Editor based at their Leicester Square offices in Central London. This is an in-house social video role sitting within Global’s internal production team, responsible for shooting and editing short-form content for major radio and entertainment brands across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. It suits a shooter-editor with a handle on professional camera systems and social post-production workflow who wants consistent access to music and entertainment talent.

About the Role

The internal video team at thisisglobal produces social-first content across multiple radio brands, working out of visualised studio environments built for both live and pre-recorded capture. Day to day, this person splits their time between single and multi-camera shoots, editing short-form social videos, and supporting studio capture sessions for radio and podcast content. The split is roughly equal between shooting and editing, with some studio operations support rounding out the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cameras on single and multi-camera shoots across in-house studios and on-location productions, using equipment from the Sony FX3, FX6, and A7 range.
• Edit short-form social video content to platform specifications for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, working within established post-production workflows.
• Produce accurate closed captions and deliver versioned exports across multiple social formats and aspect ratios.
• Handle basic audio clean-up, levelling, and music and SFX selection from approved libraries within Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Assist with live and pre-recorded studio capture from Global’s visualised radio and podcast studios, supporting the broader production team on scheduled sessions.
• Turn edits quickly to tight deadlines, incorporating feedback and maintaining consistent quality across a high volume of social deliverables.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience operating professional cameras, specifically within the Sony FX3, FX6, and A7 range, with a portfolio of work to show.
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro for short-form social video editing, with recent examples of delivered content.
• Familiarity with After Effects and Photoshop is a bonus, as is prior live studio experience.
• Competence producing accurate subtitles and managing format versioning for social distribution.
• Availability to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends for live events.
