This role sits inside the content production side of music PR campaigns, where the output is short-form social video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, alongside static graphic assets and promotional materials tied to artist releases. It suits a designer and editor who works natively inside social media culture and understands how music marketing content actually performs on each platform.

About the Role

The Graphic Designer and Social Media Video Editor works across multiple artist campaigns simultaneously, reporting directly to the Head of Creative and collaborating with the wider marketing team on campaign rollouts. A typical day involves pulling creative briefs for upcoming releases, cutting short-form video content, designing carousels and meme-format graphics, and adapting assets to fit distinct artist brand identities across different genres. This is not a traditional print or branding design role, it is production-focused work built around social content pipelines and release schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, applying current platform-native editing styles and audio sync techniques.
• Design Instagram carousels, promotional graphics, and release assets that align with individual artist brand guidelines across pop, indie, electronic, hip-hop, and alternative genres.
• Create meme and trend-based content that responds quickly to what is performing on social platforms at any given moment.
• Translate creative briefs from the marketing team into finished social assets ready for scheduling and deployment.
• Bring original creative ideas to campaign planning, contributing to the visual direction of artist projects rather than simply executing instructions.
• Track shifts in social media content formats, editing trends, and platform algorithm preferences to keep output current and effective.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut for short-form video editing, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for graphic design production across social formats.
• A portfolio showing social media content creation work, ideally across music, entertainment, or creator-economy brands.
• Strong grasp of typography, composition, and visual storytelling as applied to social content rather than long-form media.
• After Effects experience for motion graphics is a bonus, as is any background working with musicians, labels, or entertainment marketing.
