Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional television cameras in live broadcast and live production settings, maintaining clean, director-ready framing throughout the newscast.
• Run the audio console during newscasts and other projects, taking full responsibility for sound quality and signal flow from the studio floor.
• Operate robotic camera systems as part of the station’s production setup.
• Manage studio lighting rigs, including climbing ladders up to 15 feet and making adjustments before and during production.
• Use Windows-based broadcast software to prepare and organize video recordings for on-air playback.
• Identify and respond to technical issues the moment they arise during a live broadcast, without waiting for direction.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience operating professional video cameras in a live production or live broadcast environment.
• Working knowledge of robotic camera systems and studio audio consoles.
• Familiarity with Windows-based computer software used in broadcast production workflows.
• Knowledge of studio lighting practice and the physical ability to lift 25 pounds and work standing for two to three hours at a stretch.
• Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating shift schedule.
• Related military experience will be considered for candidates without a traditional broadcast background.
