Content Creator & Videographer

SDS Australia is hiring a Content Creator & Videographer based in Sydney, New South Wales, to lead on-location video production across residential and commercial sites. This is a field-based production role focused on lifestyle and testimonial video content, shot and edited for social media distribution with Instagram as the primary output platform. It suits a self-sufficient shooter-editor who is comfortable owning a brief from site visit to final deliverable, without a production crew behind them.

About the Role

Working directly with the marketing team at SDS Australia, this casual role deploys on location to capture installed sauna products at their best, including client testimonial interviews, interior and exterior product shots, and venue content aligned to a social content strategy. A typical engagement involves coordinating site access, conducting a short testimonial interview, capturing supporting b-roll, and delivering edited Reels, Stories, and feed content cut to brief. Travel across New South Wales is regular, with occasional interstate shoots in Victoria and Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial installations across NSW and interstate to capture product, venue, and lifestyle footage that serves a defined social content brief.
• Direct and film natural client testimonial interviews, using on-camera technique to draw out genuine responses from non-professional subjects.
• Edit and deliver platform-native social video content, applying current Instagram best practice across Reels, Stories, and feed formats.
• Obtain signed talent releases and usage consent before any filmed content is published, managing this process directly with clients on site.
• Coordinate shoot logistics, including timing, site access, and client communication, in close collaboration with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
• Support campaign and product launch content as required, producing footage suitable for presentations and broader brand initiatives.

What You Bring

• A portfolio or active Instagram account demonstrating camera work, editing, and an eye for composition in interior, lifestyle, or product videography.
• Proficiency in a professional editing application such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or CapCut.
• Experience producing social-first video content, particularly testimonial or lifestyle formats, with minimal crew or supervision.
• Confident, professional manner on client properties, with strong communication skills and the ability to put interview subjects at ease.
• A tertiary qualification in film, media, photography, or visual communication is preferred but not required.

Why This Role

SDS Australia is a specialist brand with a growing content program, and this role has genuine creative ownership over how its products and client stories are told on camera. For a shooter-editor who wants consistent casual work in lifestyle and testimonial video production, with real location variety and a clear brief to work from, this is a practical fit. Candidates who also carry digital design skills may be offered additional casual hours supporting the broader marketing team.
