Job Type
Adecco is placing an Adobe Premiere Pro Video Editor with a major American consumer electronics and technology corporation based in Sunnyvale, CA, working a hybrid schedule. This role sits within the internal post-production workflow, focused on cutting informational and support videos that help employees and teams get up to speed on new products and internal resources. It’s a strong fit for an editor who’s comfortable in a corporate post environment and knows how to deliver clean, clear content on deadline.
About the Role
You’ll be embedded in a multi-editor post-production environment, working alongside a post-production lead and cross-functional stakeholders including engineers and non-creative departments. The output is internal-facing: corporate, educational, interview-style, and technical procedural videos that support product launches and company operations. A typical day involves managing proxy-based remote workflows, taking notes from multiple directions, and delivering polished cuts with captions, color, and sound treatment ready to go.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut corporate, educational, interview-style, and technical procedural videos from rough assembly through picture lock using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Apply Adobe Transcription and Caption tools to all deliverables, meeting internal accessibility and localization standards.
- Source music, provide sound treatment, and handle basic sound mixing, including recording scratch audio when required.
- Manage offline and online editing via proxy media within a remote post-production workflow.
- Color grade footage using Adobe Lumetri to maintain a consistent, professional look across the internal content library.
- Incorporate notes from post-production leads, engineers, and non-creative stakeholders through multiple rounds of revisions.
What You Bring
- 5 to 6 years of editing experience specifically in corporate or tech post-production environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, including proxy workflows, Lumetri color grading, and native caption and transcription tools.
- Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, and Adobe Audition or Logic is a plus.
- Experience with localization considerations, recutting for additional languages, or multilingual production workflows is helpful.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a multi-editor post environment with overlapping timelines and varied stakeholder feedback.
Why This Role
This is a contract position with Adecco, supporting a well-known technology company with a global footprint, giving an experienced editor direct access to a large-scale internal content operation. The pay rate is $68.52 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, a 401K plan, and commuter benefits. Adecco also provides access to thousands of free upskilling courses through its Aspire Academy, which is useful for editors looking to stay current across the post-production workflow.
