About the Role
WildBrain Studios Vancouver has current openings for a Payroll Specialist, Pipeline Developer with Houdini experience, Production Coordinator for 2D animation, Line Producer for episodic television, and VFX Supervisor. These positions sit across departments that drive day-to-day production on animated and VFX-heavy episodic content. - The Pipeline Developer designs, builds, and maintains Houdini-based tools that support the VFX pipeline and improve production workflow efficiency.
- The Production Coordinator tracks schedules, manages deliverables, and supports the production team on 2D animation series through all stages of the production pipeline.
- The Line Producer oversees the episodic television budget from greenlight through delivery, managing cost reports and aligning production spending with the approved budget.
- The VFX Supervisor reviews and approves visual effects work across episodes, providing on-set and post-production guidance to ensure shots meet creative and technical standards.
- All production-facing roles liaise across animation, VFX, and studio operations teams to keep episodic schedules on track and flag issues before they impact delivery.
What You Bring
- Prior credits in animation production, episodic television, or VFX at a studio environment, depending on the specific role.
- Houdini proficiency is required for the Pipeline Developer position.
- Experience with payroll systems and Canadian labour regulations is expected for the Payroll Specialist role.
- Familiarity with production management software used in animation or episodic workflows.
- Applicants should review individual postings for role-specific qualifications, as requirements vary across the five open positions.
