Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with directors and producers during pre-production to assess VFX requirements, flag technical constraints, and build realistic shot counts and budgets.
• Manage on-set VFX supervision where required, ensuring clean plate photography, correct lens data, and any practical elements needed for post-production integration.
• Review and approve all VFX work at each internal milestone, providing clear technical and creative notes to artists at every stage of the post-production workflow.
• Maintain and develop the department’s software toolkit and render infrastructure, making decisions that keep the pipeline efficient across concurrent productions.

What You Bring

• A demonstrable track record as a VFX Supervisor across commercial or digital productions, with credited work you can show.
• Hands-on proficiency with industry-standard compositing software such as Nuke, alongside working knowledge of 3D applications including Houdini or Cinema 4D.
• Experience managing artists within a production environment, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance feedback.
• Solid understanding of colour science, camera data, and how on-set decisions affect the post-production workflow downstream.
• Ability to communicate technical VFX concepts clearly to non-technical directors and clients without losing accuracy.
