Key Responsibilities

• Track and organize all music deals negotiated by the Music BA team, including composer, music supervisor, original song, and soundtrack distribution agreements.
• Manage rights data within internal systems, including Airtable, and identify process improvements to increase efficiency and scale.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with the publishing administration partner to manage publishing registrations for original works across the studio’s production slate.
• Respond to ad hoc rights queries from internal teams and external parties, drawing on direct knowledge of music deal terms and clearance workflows.
• Coordinate invoicing and payment processing for music talent and other third parties in collaboration with finance and legal.
• Review existing workflows across the music business affairs operation and propose improvements, including AI-assisted efficiencies.

What You Bring

• Prior experience at a production company, studio, television network, record label, or music publisher working directly with music contracts or rights.
• Working knowledge of music deal terms including composer agreements, synchronization rights, and publishing administration.
• Hands-on experience with rights management or project tracking tools such as Airtable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of contracts and tasks across episodic television and feature film productions with minimal oversight.
• Comfort operating cross-functionally with creative, legal, and finance teams in a studio environment.
