Emma is hiring a Video Editor, Fintech Brand Storyteller based in Plymouth, England. This role sits within the brand content team, responsible for producing and delivering polished video assets across marketing channels including social, web, and campaign work. It is well suited to an editor with a shooter’s eye, someone comfortable owning the full post-production workflow from first assembly through to final delivery.

About the Role

The Video Editor, Fintech Brand Storyteller at Emma works across the brand’s content output, handling both production and editorial for marketing-led video. Day to day that means going on shoot, managing lighting setups, then coming back to the edit suite to cut and finish the same content. The work spans short-form social content, brand storytelling pieces, and campaign video, all produced in-house.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full production workflow from pre-production planning and location shooting through to picture lock and final export.
  • Handle on-set lighting design and camera operation to ensure footage is cut-ready and consistent with brand visual language.
  • Execute editorial work across non-linear editing software, building sequences that serve both narrative and platform-specific delivery requirements.
  • Maintain an organised post-production pipeline, including file management, versioning, and asset archiving across all active projects.
  • Develop video concepts with the marketing team, contributing to scripting and shot-listing at the development stage.
  • Deliver finished content optimised for multiple marketing channels, applying colour correction and sound mixing to broadcast-quality standards.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a video production or post-production role.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end production credits across brand, commercial, or short-form content.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, with working knowledge of colour grading tools.
  • Practical on-set experience covering camera operation, grip fundamentals, and lighting for small crew shoots.
  • Demonstrable ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously within a content-led production environment.
