About the Role

You will work directly alongside producers, editors, and production coordinators within Goldin’s in-house content operation, contributing to a production workflow that spans product showcases, behind-the-scenes content, and live event documentation. A typical shoot day might involve lighting and capturing high-resolution beauty footage of game-worn memorabilia or rare comics in the morning, then configuring a wireless audio rig for a brand interview in the afternoon. The role requires a one-person crew mindset, meaning you manage camera, lighting, and sound simultaneously without a grip or director on set.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Sony mirrorless systems, Canon C70, Canon C100, and iPhone to capture content optimized for both 16:9 and vertical 9:16 social media production formats.
• Design and execute lighting setups using LED panels and softboxes to deliver broadcast-quality visuals across interview, product, and lifestyle shoots.
• Cover live events and card shows on location, documenting content efficiently in uncontrolled environments with minimal support crew.
• Manage the full post-production workflow handoff, including organizing project files, backing up raw footage, and maintaining digital asset management systems.
• Capture secondary still photography for product shots, YouTube thumbnails, and behind-the-scenes imagery on shoot days as needed.
• Contribute creative input on shot selection, camera movement, and composition to elevate the visual storytelling across all content formats.

What You Bring

• Five or more years of professional videography experience in content, media, sports, or entertainment production environments.
• A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating cinematic camera work, lighting, and experience across both long-form and short-form content production.
• Advanced proficiency with professional cinema and mirrorless camera systems from Sony, Canon, RED, or comparable manufacturers.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with Adobe Audition as part of a broader post-production workflow.
• Demonstrated ability to shoot with editing and social platform requirements in mind, anticipating format needs before the footage reaches the edit bay.
