About the Role

The Videographer joins an established Social Media team and leads on video content strategy and execution, working across a varied slate of short-form and long-form digital productions. Day-to-day work spans filming on campus, conducting interviews, shooting events, and managing the post-production workflow through to platform-ready deliverables. This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 40 percent on-campus presence, with 60 percent on-site considered preferable where schedules allow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all stages of video production, from concept development and shoot planning through to edit, grade, and final export for social and digital distribution.
• Direct and shoot documentary-style interviews, event coverage, and scripted content to support recruitment and institutional reputation campaigns.
• Manage the social media video pipeline, ensuring content is optimised for platform specifications across formats including vertical, square, and widescreen.
• Collaborate with the Communications and Public Affairs team to align video content with strategic messaging and audience engagement goals.
• Develop storytelling approaches that serve international outreach objectives, factoring in culturally varied audiences across digital channels.
• Maintain production equipment, manage media assets, and uphold consistent quality standards across all delivered video content.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience across the full video production workflow, including shooting, editing, colour correction, and audio mixing.
• Proficiency in industry-standard post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent NLE and compositing tools.
• A portfolio of digital and social media video credits showing range across documentary, promotional, or branded content formats.
• Strong on-camera direction skills and confidence working with non-professional subjects in interview and observational contexts.
• Experience producing content for multi-platform digital distribution, with an understanding of short-form social media production demands.
