JustPlay GmbH, a Berlin-based mobile games and app company, is hiring a Video Editor & Motion Designer to join their in-house Creative team. This role sits at the intersection of post-production workflow and performance marketing, producing mobile-first video ads, motion graphics, and AI-enhanced creatives from brief through final delivery. It suits an editor and motion designer who has worked in advertising or app marketing and is comfortable treating performance data as part of the creative process.

About the Role

You will be embedded in the Creative team, working directly alongside User Acquisition to produce ad content that drives measurable results across digital and social channels. The day-to-day splits between hands-on editing and motion design work in Adobe Creative Suite, and integrating generative AI tools into the production pipeline to increase output quality and speed. Projects range from concept to final delivery, with continuous iteration based on campaign performance learnings.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end video production across multiple ad formats, from initial creative brief through final export and delivery.
• Create motion graphics, animation, and video edits optimised for mobile advertising placements on digital and social channels.
• Integrate AI-generated video, image, audio, and text assets into existing post-production workflows using tools such as Kling, Seedance, ElevenLabs, and GPT Image.
• Work with performance data and UA feedback to identify what is and is not working creatively, then iterate accordingly.
• Research creative and market trends to surface new ad formats, concepts, and production approaches ahead of campaigns.
• Organise and maintain AI tool workflows to ensure the wider Creative team can produce at scale without sacrificing quality.

What You Bring

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in video editing and motion design, with a portfolio that includes ad-focused work for mobile apps or mobile games advertising.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, plus working knowledge of Figma.
• Demonstrated experience prompting and generating assets across AI platforms for creative production purposes.
• A working understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual communication as applied to short-form performance content.
• Experience with sound editing and post-production audio workflows.
