MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C is hiring a Video Editor for a fully remote position operating on Dubai time. This role sits within a post-production workflow that handles everything from talking head interviews and event coverage to hybrid projects that blend live-action footage with AI-generated content. It suits a mid-level editor who works independently across multiple formats and brings genuine stylistic range to the edit suite.

About the Role

The editor works directly within a small creative team supported by producers, taking projects from brief intake through to final export without handing off to a separate finishing department. The project slate covers commercial video content, live event coverage, travel and reportage pieces, and vertical social formats, often sourced from multi-camera shoots on Sony and Panasonic systems. A typical day involves managing footage from multiple sources, handling audio post-production, and integrating AI-generated assets into live-action timelines inside DaVinci Resolve.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit talking head, vertical, horizontal, and event reportage videos across the full post-production workflow from assembly cut to final export.
• Manage multi-camera syncing and external audio alignment, including clean-up, music selection, and SFX design within DaVinci Resolve.
• Perform color grading and footage matching across Sony S-Log, Panasonic V-Log, and DJI D-Log sources, applying correct color space transforms, exposure alignment, and natural skin tone correction using node-based grading and scopes.
• Build basic to intermediate motion graphics including titles, lower thirds, and animated graphics elements.
• Research and curate stock footage from third-party platforms to supplement production materials.
• Integrate AI-generated content into live-action sequences, maintaining visual consistency across hybrid projects.

What You Bring

• A portfolio demonstrating commercial video editing credits at a confirmed mid-level, including talking head and event or travel reportage work.
• Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, including deep working knowledge of node structures, color spaces, and grading with scopes.
• Proven ability to cut both high-energy commercial content and subdued, premium aesthetic pieces within the same post-production pipeline.
• Fluent Russian and upper-intermediate English or higher.
• A workstation capable of smooth 4K editing, with local storage for projects ranging from 30 GB to 1 TB, and reliable high-speed internet with consistent access to Google Drive and global services.
