BruntWork is hiring a Content & Video Editor for a Sydney-based construction client, working remotely part-time across a 20-hour week. This role sits firmly in the short-form and long-form video production workflow, turning raw GoPro site footage, builder audio narrations, and site photography into finished social media content and digital sales collateral. It suits an editor with a background in branded content or social video production who is comfortable owning a post-production pipeline independently.

About the Role

The Content & Video Editor supports a growing design-build firm specialising in knockdown rebuilds, custom homes, duplexes, and townhouse developments across Western and Southern Sydney, including active sites in Liverpool and Rockdale. Day to day, this means ingesting weekly batches of raw footage, cutting Reels and YouTube progress videos, and producing graphic assets that align with the client’s established brand identity. The post-production workflow is self-managed, so strong asset organisation and content calendar discipline are central to the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut raw GoPro construction footage from concurrent project sites into short-form social video content, including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, using Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut.
• Sync builder voiceover recordings to corresponding site footage to produce coherent build progress walk-throughs suitable for a public audience.
• Design branded Instagram graphics and visual content in Canva, working within existing brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all digital channels.
• Produce digital sales collateral including e-brochures, inclusion guides, and presentation decks used in prospective client meetings.
• Build and maintain a structured content library of ready-to-publish social media assets, keeping the content calendar current and publishing-ready across all platforms.
• Monitor social channel engagement during Sydney business hours to support lead capture activity tied to active construction projects.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated video editing credits in branded content, social video production, or construction and property development content, with a portfolio required at application.
• Hands-on proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Canva for both video post-production and graphic design output.
• Working knowledge of Instagram Reels algorithms, YouTube content strategy, and short-form storytelling hooks that drive engagement.
• Experience designing marketing collateral or presentation decks for business clients in trades, architecture, or property development is preferred.
• Strong file management habits suited to handling large raw video archives across multiple concurrent projects.
