About the Role

You’ll sit inside a small creative team that produces video content serving teachers, students, and the organizations that support them, working across a range of short-form formats typical of branded content and documentary post-production workflow. Source material includes Subject Matter Expert interviews shot via online platforms, client-provided keynote recordings, and live session captures, all of which you’ll shape into polished deliverables using provided shot sheets and Figma assets. A typical day involves pulling selects, building a rough cut, dropping in motion graphics, and staying in sync with media producers and project directors.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit SME interview footage, client keynotes, and live session recordings into tight promo reels and highlight videos that hold a non-fiction narrative together.
• Produce PSA-style spots and explainer videos with motion graphics built in After Effects, working to brand standards set by the creative team.
• Execute cuts from shot sheets and creative briefs, pulling visual elements and brand assets directly from Figma files supplied by the design side.
• Handle color correction, audio mix, and caption integration on every deliverable to meet a consistent accessibility standard across the post-production pipeline.
• Maintain communication with media producers and project directors throughout each project’s editorial cycle, flagging issues before they become problems.
• Flex across multiple project types as demand shifts, contributing to the full slate rather than sitting on a single account.

What You Bring

• A portfolio or reel that demonstrates editorial judgment across non-fiction, branded content, or short-form video production.
• Fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects as primary post-production tools.
• A working eye for pacing, on-screen typography, and motion design within explainer video formats.
