Streaming Producer

FOX Entertainment is hiring a Streaming Producer at KCPQ/KZJO FOX 13 in Seattle, Washington. This role sits at the intersection of live news production and digital distribution, responsible for producing live streaming coverage, social video content, and platform-native storytelling across FOX LOCAL and major social platforms. It suits a producer who is equally comfortable making editorial calls and troubleshooting live streaming workflows in real time.

About the Role

The Streaming Producer reports to the Streaming Executive Producer and works across newsroom, digital, and engineering teams to build out FOX 13’s presence beyond linear television. Day to day, that means producing live streams of breaking news and press conferences, clipping and distributing content across CTV and social platforms, and monitoring analytics to sharpen editorial decisions mid-broadcast. FOX Television Stations collectively produce around 1,200 hours of local news per week, and this role is part of how that output reaches audiences who no longer watch traditional broadcast.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and manage live streaming coverage of breaking news, live events, and original programming for the FOX Local app and social video platforms.
• Operate live production tools including video switching, encoding, clipping, and publishing, with hands-on responsibility for real-time troubleshooting during broadcasts.
• Create platform-native short-form video, graphics, and text-based content optimized for mobile and CTV consumption across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook.
• Monitor real-time audience analytics and trending topics to inform editorial and production decisions before, during, and after live streams.
• Assist in the planning, production, and publication of regular podcasts across VOD and audio platforms.
• Participate in ongoing testing and refinement of streaming formats and post-production workflow to improve platform performance and audience retention.

What You Bring

• Three or more years producing digital video, live streams, or social-first news content, with newsroom experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on proficiency with live streaming workflows including encoding, switching, and distribution pipelines.
• Working knowledge of video editing tools and production software, with Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.
• A demonstrated understanding of how audiences consume news across social platforms and connected television environments.
• A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
