About the Role

The Junior Video Editor works directly alongside the in-house Videographer, taking raw footage through to finished deliverables across a range of brand and ecommerce briefs. Day-to-day work involves ingesting and organising footage, cutting to brief, and outputting optimised formats for different distribution channels including paid social and marketplace listings. This is not a broadcast or narrative role, but it requires the same discipline around file management, versioning, and meeting delivery schedules that any structured post-production workflow demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and deliver video assets for ecommerce, paid media, social, and CRM channels, adapting each edit to the technical and creative requirements of the target platform.
• Work from campaign briefs in collaboration with the Videographer to ensure edits meet the intended creative direction and commercial objective.
• Reformat and resize finished content to platform-specific aspect ratios and specs, maintaining brand consistency across all outputs.
• Manage organised project files, folder structures, and edit timelines to support a clean and repeatable post-production workflow.
• Review edits against brief and apply revisions efficiently, keeping deliverables on schedule across multiple concurrent projects.
• Stay current with format and spec requirements across major ecommerce and social platforms to ensure content performs correctly on delivery.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience cutting brand, commercial, or ecommerce video content in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects considered an advantage.
• A solid understanding of export settings, codec choices, and platform delivery specs across social and digital channels.
• Experience managing media and project files within an organised post-production workflow.
• A portfolio or reel showing finished brand or commercial edits, not just rough cuts or student work.
