Social Meteor is hiring a Senior Videographer based in Perth, Western Australia, to lead video production across a roster of retained brand clients. This is a full-production seat covering pre-production, camera operation, lighting, audio and post-production delivery for social-first content published across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. The role suits a videographer who has moved well past execution-only work and can own a production from brief to platform-ready export without supervision.

About the Role

Social Meteor is a Perth CBD social media agency working with brands including RAC, TabTouch, Harvey Beef and Rottnest Express, and was Campaign Brief Digital Agency of the Year Runner-up 2026. This Senior Videographer also produces commercial content for Perth is OK!, WA’s largest independent digital media brand, which means your output serves both strategy-driven brand campaigns and mass consumer audiences in a single role. A typical week moves between location shoots with client talent and stakeholders, studio sessions, and fast-turnaround social content production edited and delivered within days.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute DSLR and mirrorless camera shoots across client locations throughout Perth and regional WA, managing shot lists, lighting setups and on-set audio.
• Direct non-professional talent including client staff and executives on camera to get usable, on-brand performance across brand campaign shoots.
• Edit to a senior standard in Premiere Pro, including colour grading, sound mix, motion titles and captioning across short-form and long-form formats.
• Deliver platform-native versions of every asset with correct aspect ratios, pacing and hook structure specific to Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Manage a production calendar spanning concurrent retainer clients, coordinating gear, logistics and deadlines across simultaneous social media content production workflows.
• Set the internal production standard and guide specialists capturing iPhone content in the field on lighting, framing and audio fundamentals.

What You Bring

• Five or more years of professional videography experience from an agency, in-house brand or production company background.
• A showreel that demonstrates social-first video production alongside cinematic work, with clear platform instinct across short-form formats.
• Expert Premiere Pro skills across the full post-production workflow, with After Effects capability considered a strong advantage.
• Proficiency shooting on mirrorless systems and iPhone, with a clear understanding of when each tool suits the brief.
• A current driver’s licence and availability for occasional after-hours and rare weekend shoots, which are compensated as paid overtime.
