Job Type
Moonbug Entertainment is hiring a Senior Video Editor (GFX & Colour) to join their post-production team in Camden, London. This role sits inside the Post Production department and focuses on finishing kids’ content to high technical standards, covering graphics integration, colour grading, and final delivery across Moonbug’s global distribution pipeline. It suits an experienced post-production editor who is equally comfortable working on visual polish and GFX as they are navigating multi-platform delivery specs.
About the Role
The Senior Video Editor (GFX & Colour) works within a dedicated Post Production team supporting some of the most widely distributed children’s entertainment brands in the world, including content that reaches platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, and YouTube Kids. Day-to-day work involves finishing episodes from near-lock through to delivery, managing colour passes, and integrating graphics across a high-volume episodic television slate. The post-production workflow here serves a catalogue that spans more than 150 video platforms globally, so delivery precision is central to the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform colour grading on finished edits to ensure visual consistency across episodic content deliveries.
- Integrate motion graphics and on-screen GFX elements into edited sequences in line with brand guidelines.
- Manage post-production workflow from picture lock through to final technical delivery across multiple platform specifications.
- QC finished masters and resolve technical issues related to colour, graphics, or format compliance before distribution.
- Collaborate with the Post Production supervisor to maintain schedules across a high-volume children’s content slate.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal finishing templates and GFX toolkits used across the department.
What You Bring
- Proven credits as a video editor or finishing editor on episodic television or animation studio productions.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and a professional colour grading application such as DaVinci Resolve.
- Demonstrated experience with GFX integration and motion graphics in a post-production context.
- Familiarity with multi-platform delivery requirements including codec, frame rate, and loudness specifications.
- Experience working within a structured post-production pipeline on a high-output content slate.
Why This Role
Moonbug Entertainment operates at a scale few kids’ entertainment companies reach, with a content library distributed across 150+ platforms in multiple languages. The London office is based in Camden and comes with benefits including free private healthcare, enhanced parental leave, a matched 5% pension scheme, and weekly team socials. For a Senior Video Editor (GFX & Colour) looking to work on globally recognised IP with genuine distribution reach, this is a substantive role with real scope.
