Senior Creative Videographer

ProductionBase is hiring a Senior Creative Videographer based in London, Ontario, Canada. This role sits at the centre of content production, responsible for conceiving, shooting, and delivering high-quality video output across multiple digital platforms at a broadcast-level volume. It suits an experienced shooter and visual storyteller who has moved beyond execution and is ready to own the creative direction of a production pipeline.

About the Role

The Senior Creative Videographer works within a content production team producing original video across social, web, and platform channels that reach a global audience daily. Projects range from branded storytelling pieces to series-format digital content, requiring a working knowledge of both single-operator and small-crew production workflows. On any given day this person is moving between pre-production planning, on-camera direction, and post-production review, keeping multiple deliverables on track simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end video production from concept development through final delivery, including scripting, shot lists, and on-set execution.
• Operate camera, manage lighting setups, and make real-time creative decisions on location and in-studio environments.
• Direct on-screen talent and coordinate with supporting crew to maintain production quality across varying shoot conditions.
• Own the post-production workflow, including editing, colour grading, and audio mixing to broadcast-ready standards.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual language across all content formats, ensuring brand and platform specifications are met.
• Contribute to production planning sessions, helping to scope timelines, identify gear requirements, and flag creative risks ahead of principal photography.

What You Bring

• Five or more years of professional video production experience, including credits across digital content series or branded production.
• Strong command of industry-standard cameras and lighting packages used in professional content production environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, with working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for colour work.
• Demonstrated ability to lead shoots as a solo operator or as a directing cinematographer with a small crew.
• A portfolio that shows range across formats including short-form, long-form, and episodic digital content.

Why This Role

ProductionBase produces content that reaches millions of viewers globally every day, which means this Senior Creative Videographer is working at genuine scale, not building toward it. The company offers real ownership over the creative process rather than a support function, which is a meaningful distinction for a mid-career production professional looking to grow. London, Ontario has a growing production community, and this role places you at the centre of a team producing at a consistent volume.
