Job Position(s): Junior Videographer
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

SuperGroup plc is hiring a Junior Videographer to join their in-house Brand Creative department in Cheltenham. Sitting within a team that spans art direction, photography, styling, and retouch, this role focuses on editing social-first video content and supporting studio and location shoots that feed directly into e-commerce, marketing, retail, and wholesale channels. It suits an early-career videographer who is comfortable in a structured production workflow and wants to build their craft across the full content pipeline, from pre-production through to final delivery.

About the Role

The Junior Videographer works inside Superdry’s Brand Creative department, contributing to a high-volume content operation that produces video for brand social platforms, retail campaigns, and wholesale presentations. Day-to-day work centres on editing trend-led social media content, with regular involvement in studio shoots and occasional location and event production. The role also includes hands-on engagement with AI-assisted production tools to support efficiency across post-production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit social media content to brief, applying an understanding of platform-specific formats, pacing, and visual trends relevant to a fashion audience.
  • Assist on studio and location shoots, supporting the lead videographer with camera operation, equipment setup, and on-set production tasks.
  • Handle post-production responsibilities including colour correction, audio mixing, and asset cataloguing within the team’s established delivery pipeline.
  • Shoot and edit coverage for brand events, working independently where required and delivering finished edits to brand guidelines.
  • Support AI-assisted content generation under senior guidance, ensuring outputs meet brand accuracy standards and comply with copyright and usage policies.
  • Maintain studio equipment and contribute to the organisation of the department’s media asset library.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in videography, including on-set shooting assistance and independent editing at a professional or near-professional level.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, with confidence on Apple Mac systems.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard filming equipment in both studio and location environments.
  • An interest in social-first content production and an awareness of what performs across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Experience in a studio environment, including basic photography workflow, is an advantage but not required.

Why This Role

Superdry operates a genuine in-house production team, which means the Junior Videographer role carries real creative responsibility rather than a support function that stays purely behind the scenes. The company offers 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a holiday buying scheme, and an additional day off for your birthday. For someone looking to develop across editing, VFX basics, and AI-assisted production in a brand content setting, this is a structured environment with room to grow.
