Runner

Untold Studios is hiring a Runner based in Toronto, Ontario, to keep the studio floor running smoothly across client sessions and production days. This role sits at the operational heart of a creative studio, supporting client services and ensuring that the people coming in to work on content production have everything they need from the moment they arrive. It suits someone early in their film and television career who wants real exposure to studio operations and client-facing production work.

About the Role

The Runner at Untold Studios works directly alongside the client services team, supporting the day-to-day rhythm of a busy creative studio producing content for screen. On any given day that might mean prepping the studio before a client session, managing supplies, or helping organize an off-site event. This is a 6-month contract position with an immediate start, and no two days on the floor look the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain communal areas, client seating zones, and kitchen facilities to the standard expected in a professional studio environment hosting production clients.
• Order and manage stock of food, beverages, stationery, and cleaning supplies to keep the studio operational between sessions.
• Support client services in setting the tone for client visits, ensuring guests feel looked after from arrival through to wrap.
• Assist in organizing monthly team events, marketing activations, and off-site outings for the production studio team.
• Handle daily post runs, equipment logistics, and any floor-level tasks that keep the production day moving without interruption.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish, managing time across multiple priorities as studio demand shifts throughout the day.

What You Bring

• Some prior experience in a studio, production office, or client-facing hospitality environment is an asset.
• Genuine interest in the film and television production industry and a clear intent to build a career in it.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across a studio production day.
• You must be living in and eligible to work in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the time of application.

Why This Role

Untold Studios is a creative production studio with a team focused on making content that performs for audiences, and this Runner role puts you inside that operation from day one. The studio is committed to supporting career growth from within, which makes this contract a real entry point rather than a dead end. Compensation is $40,000 to $43,000 CAD per year depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
