Realty Plans is hiring a Real Estate and Drone Photographer and Videographer based out of Danbury, CT, covering a multi-county service area across Fairfield, Litchfield, Hartford, and the surrounding region. This role sits at the intersection of real estate photography workflow and aerial production, responsible for delivering finished photo sets, video walkthroughs, drone footage, and floor plan documentation for residential property listings. It suits an independent shooter who is comfortable owning a full production day solo, from setup through delivery, without a crew to lean on.

About the Role

Working as a 1099 independent contractor, this person operates as their own unit on every shoot, managing camera, drone, and floor plan capture across real estate photography assignments in the greater Danbury, CT area. A typical day involves scheduling a property shoot, executing HDR stills, capturing aerial footage under Part 107 certification, and producing video walkthroughs that meet listing standards for real estate marketing. Realty Plans assigns work based on your stated availability, so the production calendar is something you shape directly.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture HDR photography of residential interiors and exteriors using a full-frame camera system with a wide-angle lens in the 17-35mm range.
• Produce drone photography and videography for aerial real estate production, operating within FAA Part 107 guidelines across assigned service counties.
• Shoot video walkthroughs of listings using a gimbal, slider, and dolly to deliver stable, professional-grade footage suitable for real estate marketing media.
• Create accurate floor plan documentation for each property, using company-provided training and a tablet-based workflow on location.
• Manage all on-site lighting using speed-lights, flash, or strobes to produce consistent, publication-ready real estate photography under variable interior conditions.
• Deliver completed assets within the production timeline, maintaining direct communication with the Realty Plans customer success team throughout each shoot day.

What You Bring

• 2 to 3 years of experience shooting real estate photography, video production, or aerial drone work in a professional context.
• Working knowledge of HDR photography techniques and video production workflow, including stabilized camera movement.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or demonstrated drone videography experience.
• A complete personal equipment package including a full-frame camera, drone, wide-angle lens, tripod, slider, dolly, gimbal, and portable lighting.
• Reliable transportation, a smartphone with email access, and a computer capable of handling photo and video post-production workflow.
