Production Supervisor

Day-to-day, the role involves tracking project status, managing delivery coordination, supporting billing and work order documentation, and keeping communication clean between artists, engineering, and delivery teams. On smaller indie or limited-scope projects, the Production Supervisor takes full ownership from kickoff through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery coordination and archive requests across multiple concurrent post-production workflow projects, surfacing issues to leadership before they become problems.
• Lead smaller-scale productions independently from project initiation through final delivery, applying departmental SOPs throughout.
• Monitor billing, work orders, and internal tracking systems, providing recommendations to the VP of Production when discrepancies or patterns emerge.
• Coordinate scheduling support and workflow transitions between production, artists, engineering, and delivery teams across episodic and feature finishing pipelines.
• Mentor junior production staff and support onboarding for new hires, including workflow guidance and system familiarization.
• Partner with the VP of Production to identify operational gaps and implement team-level process improvements across post-production workflow.

What You Bring

• Several years of experience in post-production project management, ideally across episodic television, feature film production, or commercial finishing.
• Working knowledge of finishing workflows including color, delivery specs, and archival operations.
• Experience tracking billing, scheduling, and documentation across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong communication skills across technical and creative departments, including artists and engineering teams.
• Ability to produce smaller-scale projects independently while supporting larger productions in a staff capacity.
