Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead end-to-end operational audits across Paramount’s corporate, streaming, advertising, and media production business units, from scoping through final reporting.
• Conduct root cause analysis on process breakdowns, identifying underlying control gaps rather than surface-level symptoms across production and operational workflows.
• Analyze transactional data sets covering production costs, payroll, travel and entertainment spend, vendor payments, and advertising revenue to surface trends and emerging risks.
• Build and maintain working relationships with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and SOX teams to align audit findings with broader governance priorities across the enterprise.
• Manage and coach audit staff, moving the team’s approach away from checklist-based testing toward risk-focused, insight-driven audit practice.
• Ensure all audit work meets the standards set by the International Professional Practices Framework and the new Global Internal Audit Standards from the Institute of Internal Auditors.

What You Bring

• Several years of internal audit experience, ideally within media, entertainment, or a similarly complex, multi-business-unit environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading operational audits across areas such as production finance, content distribution, or advertising operations.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools used to test large transactional data sets and build visual reporting for business audiences.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance processes and how they intersect with operational audit work at a publicly traded media company.
• A relevant certification such as CIA, CPA, or CISA is preferred.
