The Creative Videographer for Social Video & Storytelling works within a content production environment where brand identity and platform-native formats drive every creative decision. Projects span across multiple social channels, meaning deliverables vary in aspect ratio, pacing, and tone depending on the platform. A typical day moves between pre-production planning, single-operator shoots, and post-production workflow including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute shoots as a self-operating videographer, handling camera, lighting, and audio capture without a dedicated crew.
• Edit footage through a complete post-production workflow, applying color grading to maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines across all deliverables.
• Design and integrate motion graphics to support storytelling and meet the visual language requirements of each platform.
• Handle sound design within the edit, including music selection, dialogue cleanup, and effects to ensure the final mix is appropriate for mobile-first viewing.
• Develop content plans for short-form video storytelling, mapping shoot requirements to platform specs before production begins.
• Export and deliver final assets formatted correctly for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and any additional channels within the agreed production schedule.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a videographer and editor working across social video production, with a portfolio that demonstrates platform-specific work.
• Proficiency in a professional non-linear editing system such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics.
• Hands-on experience with color grading tools, either within your NLE or a dedicated application such as DaVinci Resolve.
• A working understanding of short-form content formats, including vertical video production and the pacing conventions of TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Ability to manage your own production schedule from brief through to final delivery with minimal supervision.
