About the Role

The Hybrid Video & Photo Editor works inside Halfords Group PLC’s creative studio alongside the Studio Manager, contributing to a content pipeline that serves both retail-facing and internal communications. Day-to-day output includes editing footage from studio shoots, colour grading product and lifestyle content, and processing photography for digital retail channels. The role sits at the intersection of post-production and content creation, where turnaround times are regular and output volume is consistent.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content for retail digital channels, managing the full post-production workflow from ingest through to final export.
• Retouch and process product and lifestyle photography to meet digital channel specifications across multiple retail platforms.
• Colour grade video and photo assets to maintain visual consistency across campaign outputs.
• Work within the studio content calendar to deliver edited assets on schedule, coordinating directly with the Studio Manager on priorities.
• Maintain organised project files and asset libraries within the Adobe Creative Suite, keeping the post-production workflow accessible to the wider team.
• Support motion graphics and graphic overlay work within video edits to align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience in both video editing and photo retouching within a studio or content creation environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
• A working understanding of digital content production for retail or commercial channels, including file delivery formats and platform specifications.
• Strong organisational skills suited to managing multiple assets across an active production schedule.
• A portfolio showing short-form commercial or retail content edits and processed photography.
