Videographer and Content Editor

Oak Furnitureland is hiring a Videographer and Content Editor based out of their Bristol studio. This role sits within the in-house creative team and covers the full production pipeline for video and motion content, from product shoots in retail showrooms through to social media campaign delivery across paid and organic channels. It suits a hands-on content creator who is equally comfortable behind a camera and in an edit suite, and who understands how video performs differently across digital platforms.

About the Role

Reporting to the Photography and Studio Manager, this position works across retail, eCommerce, and marketing to keep Oak Furnitureland’s video output consistent and on-brand. Day to day, the work ranges from in-showroom video production and product filming to editing social content and building motion graphics for digital campaigns. The role is studio-based in Bristol with some remote flexibility on non-shoot days, plus a handful of overnight location shoots per year for new product range launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit product-led video content for use across in-showroom screens, ensuring delivery meets the technical requirements of each retail environment.
• Produce social media video content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, with clear awareness of the differences between paid social video and organic content formats.
• Work alongside the photography team to translate creative briefs into motion-led campaigns that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Build animated graphics, video banners, and event visuals to support wider digital marketing and promotional activity.
• Monitor emerging social trends and evolving digital video formats to inform and refresh the content production workflow.
• Manage multiple video assets simultaneously across departments, maintaining version control and delivering to deadlines within a structured studio production calendar.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in videography, video editing, and digital content creation across commercial or brand production environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Demonstrable experience producing social-first video content, with an understanding of aspect ratios, caption requirements, and platform-specific best practices.
• Solid grounding in lighting, composition, and visual storytelling when filming product-based content.
• Competency in motion graphics production and a working understanding of typography and layout within branded video content.
