About the Role

The Cinematic Videographer will work directly inside the brand’s creative department, producing content that spans long-form documentary projects and short-form social video production. The pipeline is hands-on from lens to final export, so this person owns the full production workflow rather than handling a single stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating camera on branded documentary shoots and social media production, making decisions on framing, exposure, and movement that serve a cinematic visual language.
• Editing footage through the full post-production workflow, from assembly cut to colour grade and sound mix, delivering polished content across multiple platform formats.
• Developing shot lists and visual treatment documents in collaboration with creative directors and brand stakeholders before each production.
• Managing on-set lighting setups appropriate for beauty-led content, with an understanding of how light renders skin tones and product detail on camera.
• Maintaining and operating video production equipment including cameras, lenses, and stabilisation rigs, and flagging any technical issues ahead of scheduled shoots.
• Adapting edits and re-versioning finished content for social media delivery across different aspect ratios and platform specifications.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a videographer with a showreel that demonstrates cinematic framing and editorial judgment across documentary or branded content formats.
• Strong working knowledge of editing software, with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve as the expected industry standard for this type of social video production.
• Experience shooting beauty, fashion, or lifestyle content where aesthetic precision and product presentation are central to the brief.
• Competency in colour grading as part of the post-production process, not as a specialist but as a working part of the editor’s toolkit.
• A portfolio of completed projects that demonstrates storytelling ability across both long-form and short-form content production.
