About the Role

The Virtual Assistant – Video Editor joins a creative department inside a digital marketing agency that specializes in SEO, lead generation, and media production for trades and construction companies. A typical day involves cutting five to ten short-form videos, reviewing performance data from previous posts, and coordinating with account managers on campaign direction. The post-production pipeline runs through Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Creative Cloud suite, with AI tools like Higgsfield integrated into the editing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit five to ten short-form social videos per day, optimizing pacing, hooks, and audio choices to improve watch time and click-through rate across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
• Build motion graphics and animation sequences tailored for digital ads and short-form content formats.
• Review post-performance metrics after publication and apply data findings directly to the next round of edits.
• Manage end-to-end post-production workflows for both photo and video deliverables, maintaining turnaround speed without dropping output quality.
• Run creative workshops with fellow editors to share platform insights and raise the department’s overall editorial standard.
• Integrate AI production tools, including Higgsfield, into the daily editing workflow to improve efficiency and expand creative options.

What You Bring

• Three to four or more years of professional experience in video and photo production within an agency or high-volume production environment.
• High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the full Creative Cloud suite, including Lightroom.
• A demonstrated track record of producing content with strong watch time and CTR performance on social platforms.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted production tools, specifically Higgsfield.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working inside Google Workspace for project management and team collaboration.
