It suits a senior-year student with a genuine background in TV production or sports media who wants hands-on time inside a major sports broadcast operation.

About the Role

ESPN Creative Studio functions as an in-house agency for the ESPN brand, developing promotional media for sports properties, programming, and external sponsors. You will be in the room where promotional content gets shaped for one of the most-watched sports television networks in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull footage and conduct research to support editors and producers working on TV and radio tune-in campaigns across ESPN’s sports properties.
  • Contribute to scriptwriting in the promotional content workflow, developing copy for television, digital, and social platforms.
  • Assist in post-production workflows by working within Adobe Premiere on promotional edits and asset assembly.
  • Support graphic and design needs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as directed by the Creative Team.
  • Participate in campaign development discussions and contribute creative concepts tied to current sports programming and pop-culture trends.
  • Manage multiple deliverables across concurrent campaigns while meeting production deadlines set by the marketing teams.

What You Bring

  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with senior standing preferred, in Marketing, Sports Media, Film, Writing, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Demonstrated experience with promotional content, advertising copywriting, or concept development for sports or entertainment campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of professional and collegiate sports, with familiarity with how ESPN covers and markets its properties.
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization and the ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in New York City with your own housing arranged.

Why This Role

ESPN Creative Studio operates at the center of sports television marketing, producing promotional content seen by millions of viewers across broadcast and digital platforms, which gives a production assistant real exposure to the full promotional content pipeline at scale. Disney offers a pay rate of $22.50 per hour for this position, with select benefits potentially included depending on the role structure.
