The Assistant Company is hiring a Video Editor / Content Coordinator based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role sits on the content production side, focused on short-form video editing and social media publishing for an influencer and entrepreneur with an active digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. It suits an early-career editor who wants real hands-on reps in social media content workflow without needing a full production house credit to get in the door.

About the Role

This is a full-time position embedded in a small content team, supporting a creator whose output spans Reels, Shorts, and TikTok, meaning the post-production workflow moves quickly and the edit style needs to track current platform trends. A typical day involves pulling footage, cutting short-form edits, building thumbnails and graphics in Canva, and scheduling uploads across platforms. The role also carries light administrative and driving duties when the primary assistant is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut and deliver short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts in line with current social media content trends.
  • Organize footage libraries, digital assets, and project files to keep the post-production workflow clean and accessible.
  • Create graphics, captions, and thumbnails using Canva or comparable design tools to support each piece of published content.
  • Manage content scheduling, uploads, and publishing across social platforms on a consistent production calendar.
  • Monitor platform trends and bring specific format or concept ideas to the team to keep the content strategy current.
  • Provide transportation to meetings, appearances, or events on an as-needed basis when the primary personal assistant is not available.

What You Bring

  • Recent college graduate or early-career professional background, formal production credits are not required.
  • Hands-on experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Canva, any combination is acceptable.
  • Comfort working at a computer for extended hours across editing, graphics, and content management tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling digital asset management and file structure.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.

Why This Role

The Assistant Company is a Las Vegas staffing agency with a placement network that runs nationwide, and this position offers direct access to a working creator’s content operation from day one. The role pays $20 per hour and is structured Monday through Friday with schedule flexibility tied to content production needs.
