Videographer/Content Lead

About the Role

The Videographer/Content Lead works inside Nova Entertainment’s content division, producing video that supports on-air talent, brand campaigns, and audience engagement across multiple channels. A typical day moves between pre-production planning, shooting on location or in-studio, and editing finished pieces to platform specifications. The role carries editorial responsibility, meaning this person makes creative calls, not just technical ones.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera across studio and field production environments, managing exposure, composition, and audio capture without a dedicated crew.
• Lead the full video production workflow from shot list and schedule through to colour grade and final export.
• Edit long and short-form content to broadcast and social media delivery specs, maintaining consistent visual identity across the Nova Entertainment brand.
• Coordinate with on-air talent and producers to translate editorial briefs into shoot-ready production plans.
• Manage digital asset organisation, file naming conventions, and media archiving across active projects.
• Contribute to content strategy discussions, bringing a production perspective to decisions about format, format length, and distribution.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience in solo or small-crew video production, ideally within media, broadcast, or branded content environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and at least one of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve for colour and motion work.
• A working knowledge of social video production requirements across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok formats.
• Experience shooting and lighting in both controlled studio and run-and-gun field conditions.
• A portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of produced pieces, not just shooting or editing in isolation.
