Key Responsibilities

• Configure physical and digital studio environments before each recording session, including microphone placement, lighting grids, and camera positioning to achieve broadcast-grade consistency across all media assets.
• Assemble multi-cam video and audio tracks into finished episodes using industry-standard editing platforms, including Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Descript.
• Work directly with researchers and hosts to outline episodes, draft narrative scripts, and write segment transitions that move the story forward without losing the audience.
• Support in-studio and remote film sessions by monitoring exposure, framing, and focus to maintain a consistent visual identity across the production slate.
• Pull clips and build audiograms from finished episodes to support civic action campaigns across digital distribution channels.
• Draft show summaries, resource links, and full transcripts as part of the standard post-production delivery package for each episode.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience running or contributing to an independent podcast, broadcasting program, or video production outfit at any scale.
• Working proficiency in video and audio editing software from the Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Descript.
• Solid understanding of camera framing, audio capture fundamentals, and media asset management workflows.
