About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Head of Production for DACH, this Manager, Production Management, DACH position works across multiple scripted projects at different stages simultaneously, from early development planning through post-production workflow and final delivery. Day to day, that means reviewing budgets and schedules with line producers and executive producers, coordinating across internal teams including finance, legal, and post, and staying close to production companies as shoots progress. The role is office-based in Berlin with meaningful in-person collaboration expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Creative Executives during development to structure productions for success, including approving heads of departments and advising on location strategy for scripted series and film.
• Review production budgets and schedules with executive producers and line producers, providing clear feedback on viability, risk, and alignment with agreed parameters.
• Track and manage costs in collaboration with the finance team, keeping internal stakeholders informed and supporting external production teams in hitting delivery targets.
• Identify and approve key vendors based on creative needs, tax incentive opportunities, budget requirements, and location considerations across the DACH region.
• Connect regularly with Netflix colleagues across EMEA and globally to share production management best practices and integrate learnings from other regional markets into DACH workflows.
• Monitor industry trends in scripted production and propose process improvements that address real operational challenges across the slate.

What You Bring

• Three or more years of production management experience as a freelance production manager, line producer, or in-house at a production company, with credits on scripted series or feature film production.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent projects across multiple stages of production, from development through delivery.
• Established vendor and talent relationships throughout the DACH region, with strong working knowledge of European production markets.
• Fluency in German and working proficiency in English, with the communication skills to operate effectively across internal and external teams.
• Discretion in handling confidential production and financial information, with sound judgment on prioritization.
