Job Position(s): Video Editor Assistant
Project Type: Film & Television
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: $2,200 - $2,800/day

Queen Beauty is hiring a Video Editor Assistant to support their in-house content production team. This role sits within the post-production workflow, focusing on edited deliverables for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and promotional content. It suits an early-career editor who wants hands-on experience cutting real content across multiple formats and deadlines.

About the Role

The Video Editor Assistant works directly within Queen Beauty’s content and marketing department, contributing to a steady output of branded video assets. Day-to-day work involves pulling and organizing footage, assembling rough cuts, and refining edits through to final delivery. The role also touches on inventory and asset management, which means this person is embedded in the broader production workflow, not just sitting in an edit suite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut and assemble video content for social media channels, marketing campaigns, and promotional releases using standard post-production software.
  • Add captions, licensed music, transitions, and basic motion graphics to finalize deliverables according to platform specifications.
  • Organize and maintain the media library, ensuring footage, assets, and project files are properly labeled and archived.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing stock inventory, supporting the department’s physical and digital asset pipeline.
  • Support administrative tasks tied to production scheduling, file handoffs, and other operational needs as they arise.
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, hitting turnaround deadlines without sacrificing output quality.

What You Bring

  • Working knowledge of at least one industry-standard editing platform, including CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
  • A portfolio or sample reel demonstrating completed edits, even from personal, student, or freelance projects.
  • Strong organizational habits suited to managing files and assets across an active content production schedule.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables without close supervision.
  • A collaborative approach to working within a small in-house team where roles often overlap.

Why This Role

Queen Beauty offers consistent, real-volume editing work that gives an emerging editor genuine post-production experience across a range of content formats. For someone building toward a longer career in video production or branded content, the exposure to both editorial and operational workflows here is genuinely useful. The role provides a stable base to develop professional editing credits while working within a structured team environment.
