Day-to-day, that means managing a team of production managers and coordinators, aligning with cross-functional partners across legal, finance, and creative, and keeping multiple productions on track across different stages simultaneously. The role demands someone who can hold the big picture while staying close enough to title-level detail to catch problems before they become crises.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a production management strategy for Korea that aligns local workflows with Netflix’s global content delivery standards.
• Oversee budget and schedule integrity across a concurrent slate of series, film, and nonfiction productions at all stages of the production pipeline.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production managers and coordinators, setting clear expectations and building real career pathways within the department.
• Partner with VFX and post-production supervisors to integrate visual effects and post workflows into production planning from early development onward.
• Identify and mitigate production risks in coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including line producers and key facilities partners.
• Drive training and partner development programs that build the capacity of Korea’s broader production ecosystem to meet streaming deliverable requirements.

What You Bring

• 13 or more years of experience in content production or a directly related entertainment industry role.
• Proven track record leading studio production teams at both the project and corporate level, ideally across episodic television and feature film production.
• Established relationships with high-quality Korean production vendors, facilities, and crew talent.
• Working knowledge of VFX pipelines and post-production processes, including streaming deliverable specifications.
• Conversational English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean.
