Central Production Manager

Scanline VFX (Eyeline) is hiring a Central Production Manager to be based in Seoul and support day-to-day VFX production operations across its Seoul and Hyderabad studios. About the Role

The Central Production Manager works within the global framework set by Eyeline’s Global Central Production Manager and Directors of VFX Production, while holding local ownership over how production runs in Seoul and Hyderabad. Day-to-day, this means managing staffing coverage, coordinating ShotGrid show setup and closure, overseeing time log and overtime administration, and acting as the primary escalation point for production coordinators and junior staff. Key Responsibilities

• Own resourcing, vacation approvals, and coverage planning for production staff across the Seoul and Hyderabad sites in coordination with show Producers and the global Central Production Manager.
• Manage ShotGrid show setup and closure for all SEO and HYD projects, applying global templates and ensuring data consistency across the VFX pipeline.
• Oversee time log, overtime, and weekend-work administration for the region, keeping approvals accurate and compliant with company policy.
• Coordinate and support post-mortems for local shows, capturing action items, tracking follow-through, and escalating systemic issues to global production leadership.
• Develop and deliver production training sessions for Seoul and Hyderabad staff covering ShotGrid usage, show workflows, and core production skills.
• Mentor junior production staff on both technical workflows and the interpersonal side of working within episodic television and feature film VFX environments.

What You Bring

• Several years of production management experience inside a VFX studio or post-production facility, ideally across multiple simultaneous shows.
• Hands-on working knowledge of ShotGrid as a production tracking and show management tool.
• Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring production coordinators and assistants in a studio setting.
• Familiarity with multi-site or global production workflows and the practical challenges of aligning remote teams to shared standards.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work across time zones with production leadership based outside Korea.
