This role sits within the Live Production department, supporting both internal production management workflows and third-party producing partners across sports broadcasts and variety tentpole events. It suits a production coordinator or production manager with a real background in live production who is comfortable working across multiple concurrent shows inside a network structure.

About the Role

The Coordinator, Production, Live Specials & Sports reports to the Manager of Live Production and functions as a network touch point between Netflix and its external producing partners, helping those partners get properly onboarded, resourced, and managed through delivery. Day to day, this person is inside the live production workflow, tracking materials from pre-production through wrap, running production meetings, and keeping cross-functional teams aligned on everything happening around a live broadcast. The Netflix Live team oversees all aspects of original global live programming, and this coordinator role is embedded in that operation from setup through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard third-party production companies to Netflix studio tools and manage the flow of deliverable materials, call sheets, schedules, camera plots, and set designs throughout the production cycle.
• Build and maintain partner-facing guides, templates, and credential grids that keep live production execution on track across all active shows.
• Lead production kick-off meetings and ongoing show meetings, building agendas, tracking notes, and distributing action items to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate directly with Marketing, Publicity, Safety, Sustainability, and Events teams on all on-location activity tied to live broadcasts.
• Gather and enter production data across multiple platforms, and design operational spreadsheets for asset management, checklists, and production tracking needs.
• Participate in beta testing proprietary Netflix apps and provide structured feedback on the end-user experience to help refine internal production tools.

What You Bring

• A minimum of five years in production management at a production company or network, with verified live production experience on your credits.
• Hands-on experience with live sports production is a meaningful plus for this position.
• Comfort working across finance, HR, legal, and risk management workflows in a studio or network context.
• Strong familiarity with production management platforms and the ability to quickly learn proprietary tools inside a large content operation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage post-production workflow, delivery requirements, and wrap materials across multiple live productions simultaneously.
