Job Position(s): Videographer & Video Editor
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000/year

NPE is hiring a Videographer and Video Editor based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, to bring their content production fully in-house. This role sits across both production and post-production, covering camera operation, lighting, and editing for a high-volume social media content workflow that spans YouTube long-form and short-form social video for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok. It suits a shooter-editor who is comfortable owning both the camera and the timeline, and who wants creative ownership rather than a brief handed down from an agency layer.

About the Role

NPE is a global coaching company serving fitness-business owners, and this hire is the foundation of a new in-house content team working directly with the founder. Day to day, you will plan and run shoots, manage lighting and audio capture in studio and on location, then take that footage through the full post-production workflow to delivery-ready files. The role starts at approximately three days per week with a clear path to full-time as output scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate camera on talking-head and b-roll shoots in studio and on location, handling lighting setup, framing, and audio capture independently.
  • Edit long-form content for YouTube through the full post-production workflow, including pacing, sound mix, captions, and colour correction.
  • Cut short-form social video for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok with a strong sense of hook structure and platform-native pacing.
  • Turn raw footage and creative direction from the founder into finished, on-brand content with a reliable turnaround.
  • Manage a growing footage library and project asset organisation to keep production workflow clean and searchable.
  • Bring ideas to the table on content format, trends, and production approach, including using AI tools for captioning, editing assistance, and content repurposing.

What You Bring

  • A showreel or portfolio demonstrating both short-form social content and long-form video work, with your credited role on each project.
  • Confident camera operation skills including lighting design, framing, and location audio, not just post-production editing.
  • Strong editing proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Basic motion graphics capability using templates or presets.
  • Physical availability to shoot on the Gold Coast and a reliable, deadline-driven working style.

Why This Role

NPE provides all production gear including cameras, lights, audio, and an editing machine, so you can contribute from day one without a kit overhead. The indicative package is $85,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation on a full-time equivalent basis, pro-rata while part-time, depending on experience. For a Videographer and Video Editor who wants to build something rather than maintain someone else’s system, this is a rare chance to shape an in-house content operation from its earliest stage.

Apply for the Videographer and Video Editor position at NPE and submit your showreel with credited roles, a brief note on your workflow and AI tool use, and your current availability.
