Job Position(s): Videographer - UK
Project Type: Short Film
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Bjak is hiring a Videographer based in the United Kingdom to join their growing creative operation. This role sits within the Creative and Marketing department, producing video content across social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu, from corporate brand storytelling through to short-form social content. It suits a camera operator and editor with 1 to 3 years of production experience who is comfortable owning the full production workflow from shoot to delivery.

About the Role

Bjak is a technology company operating an insurance platform that serves over 8 million users across Southeast Asia, and this Videographer position supports the brand’s continued expansion through video content production. Day to day, you will be handling pre-production planning, on-camera shooting, and post-production editing across multiple concurrent projects, working directly alongside designers, copywriters, and social media teams. The role demands someone who can move between a corporate interview setup and a fast-turnaround social media clip without losing quality or consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute video shoots end to end, including storyboarding, equipment setup, camera operation, lighting rigs, and location audio recording.
  • Edit across a range of formats and lengths, applying considered pacing, color grading, sound design, basic motion graphics, and subtitle work within Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Manage the post-production workflow across multiple editing timelines simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are exported on schedule and to platform specifications.
  • Maintain organized media management systems covering raw footage, versioned edits, and archived project assets.
  • Monitor social media video trends and platform algorithm changes, translating that awareness into content decisions and workflow improvements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during shoots and in the edit suite, keeping production moving without escalation.

What You Bring

  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on videography and editing experience, either in-house or within a content production or creative agency environment.
  • A portfolio or showreel demonstrating range across corporate video production, social media content, and branded storytelling formats.
  • Proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
  • Practical skill in camera operation, lighting technique, and production audio recording across varied shoot conditions.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or a related discipline.

Why This Role

This Videographer position offers a base salary of £45,000 to £60,000, which sits well above typical in-house content roles at this experience level in the UK market. Bjak operates with a flat structure, meaning your creative input feeds directly into decisions rather than passing through multiple approval layers. The role comes with regional exposure across a production slate that spans multiple platforms and international markets.

Apply now for the Videographer role at Bjak and bring your production skills to a team building content at scale.
