Sony Pictures Entertainment is hiring an Executive Director, People Experience (PX) Analytics based in Culver City, California. This role sits within the People Experience organization and is responsible for turning workforce, workplace, and operational data into executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations that shape how SPE manages talent, culture, and studio operations across its production and corporate footprint. It suits a senior analytics leader who has spent time building people analytics functions from the ground up and knows how to translate complex data into decisions that land with C-suite audiences.

About the Role

Reporting to the Vice President, People Experience Strategy, this position serves as the analytics authority for PX leadership and cross-functional partners including Facilities, Real Estate, Safety, Security, and Sustainability. Day-to-day work spans building dashboards and workforce models, running employee engagement survey programs, and integrating workplace utilization data with broader studio operational reporting. The role connects people data to the kind of organizational decisions that affect how a major film and television studio runs its workforce across productions, departments, and global offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of workforce analytics dashboards and executive reporting that support talent planning, organizational effectiveness, and studio operations across Sony Pictures Entertainment.
  • Own the employee engagement survey process end to end, from design through analysis, and present findings with clear recommendations to senior People and Organization leadership.
  • Build and manage integrated reporting that combines workforce, facilities, real estate, and sustainability data to give leadership a complete picture of studio operations.
  • Partner with the Technology and Enablement team to maintain data governance standards, ensure regulatory compliance around employee data, and improve reporting infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute AI-driven solutions that automate insight generation and accelerate workforce decision-making across the organization.
  • Shape the people analytics roadmap in partnership with the VP of People Experience Strategy, balancing long-term capability building with immediate reporting needs.

What You Bring

  • 10 or more years of experience in people analytics, business intelligence, workforce strategy, or data science.
  • 3 or more years leading analytics or insights teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience building executive-level reporting and presenting data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with survey platforms, workforce reporting tools, and data visualization software used in enterprise HR environments.
  • Working knowledge of privacy regulations and data governance requirements as they apply to employee data.
