Job Position(s): Videographer, Golf Monthly
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Future Publishing is hiring a Videographer for Golf Monthly, based out of their Winnersh office near Reading, England. This role sits within Golf Monthly’s editorial team and covers the full video production workflow, from pre-production planning through to shooting and post-production editing, delivering content across digital and social channels. It suits a video producer who is comfortable owning projects end to end and has a genuine feel for sports media and audience-specific content strategy.

About the Role

The Videographer reports directly to the Editor and works as part of the Golf Monthly editorial team, producing both editorial and commercial video output aligned with the brand’s global content strategy. Day to day, this means managing your own production schedule, getting on the tools to shoot and cut, and adapting content for the specific demands of different digital distribution channels. The hybrid setup is two days per week at the Winnersh office, three from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage pre-production logistics across multiple video projects running simultaneously, keeping timelines and deliverables on track.
  • Shoot original video content in the field and in studio, covering golf equipment, instruction, course features, and editorial formats.
  • Handle all post-production editing in Adobe Creative Suite, cutting and delivering finished pieces to platform-specific specs.
  • Develop content tailored to the performance expectations of each distribution channel, including YouTube, social video, and on-site editorial formats.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to align video output with broader content planning and the brand’s digital production workflow.
  • Contribute to commercial video briefs alongside editorial content, balancing brand requirements with audience engagement.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrable shooting and editing credits across digital video production, ideally within sports, lifestyle, or enthusiast media.
  • Fluent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite across the full post-production workflow.
  • Strong understanding of how content performs across key digital distribution channels and what each platform requires technically and editorially.
  • Ability to manage a personal production slate from brief through delivery without close supervision.
  • A genuine interest in golf is a meaningful advantage given the specialist nature of the subject matter and its audience.

Why This Role

Future Publishing operates more than 200 media brands globally, which means real career mobility for people who perform well within their editorial divisions. Golf Monthly is an established title with a committed audience, so the video work here has genuine reach and production purpose rather than being built from scratch. The salary range for this Videographer position is £29,000 to £35,000, with uncapped leave, a profit share bonus scheme, and a share incentive plan included in the package.

Apply now for the Videographer role at Future Publishing and bring your video production skills to one of the UK’s most recognised sports media brands.
