Job Position(s): Videographer/ Editor
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

VALD is hiring a Videographer/Editor at their global headquarters in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. This is a hands-on production role sitting within VALD’s in-house marketing and video team, responsible for end-to-end video content production across product launches, paid social campaigns, educational resources, and brand storytelling. It suits a mid-level shooter/editor who is equally comfortable on set operating camera as they are in the edit suite finishing a polished deliverable.

About the Role

The video team operates inside a broader marketing department that includes designers, content specialists, and industry professionals such as physiotherapists and sports scientists, which means the content produced is technically specific and aimed at a global professional audience across health and performance. Day to day, this role moves between pre-production planning, on-location and studio shoots, and post-production workflow including colour correction, sound design, and motion graphics. Turnaround times are tight and the content volume is high, so the ability to move efficiently from shoot to final delivery is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate camera and manage on-set production for a wide range of formats including product launch videos, customer testimonials, and paid social content.
  • Direct talent on set to ensure shoot days run efficiently and deliver usable, high-quality footage.
  • Edit footage through full post-production workflow, applying colour grading, sound design, and motion graphics to final deliverables.
  • Adapt and repurpose video assets across multiple platforms including paid advertising, organic social media, and web.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers and subject matter experts during creative development to translate briefs into effective video content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a high-turnaround production environment, maintaining quality across all outputs.

What You Bring

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a videographer/editor role, ideally within a corporate, commercial, or in-house production context.
  • Proven competency in professional camera operation and on-set production across a range of shoot types.
  • Strong post-production skills including colour correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
  • A portfolio demonstrating finished work across social media video production, brand content, or commercial formats.
  • Ability to work within a structured creative team while contributing independently to production outcomes.

Why This Role

VALD’s products are used by professional sporting organisations across the NBA, EPL, and NFL, which means the video content produced here reaches a genuinely global and highly credentialed audience. The in-house team structure gives a videographer/editor direct access to product, research, and commercial stakeholders, which produces more technically grounded content than most agency or freelance work would allow. Brisbane-based, permanent, and full-time, this is a stable production role with a company that has grown substantially and operates across 150 countries.

Apply now for the Videographer/Editor position at VALD and bring your production skills to a team making technically serious content at a global scale.
